Outdoor Portrait Workshop

Stanford University
Join me at Stanford University as we work through different techniques to produce stunning outdoor portraits. We will explore the different types of background and lighting options. Learn how to pose individuals and groups of people to create professional looking images. Practice incorporating buildings and landmarks that don't distract from a quality portrait.
This is the perfect opportunity for the serious photographer looking to expand your portfolio, or for the beginner wanting to learn more about your camera.

Golden Gate National Recreation Area
April 10 - 11, 2010
One of the world's largest urban national parks, Golden Gate National Recreation Area hugs the California coastline for nearly 60 miles in and around San Francisco. Join me as we photograph at a range of locations that include the redwood forest of Muir Woods to Alcatraz Island. You will spend two days shooting the unique light and textures from choice locations throughout the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. You will get hands-on instruction learning how to use your camera and improve your composition and workflow.
This is the perfect opportunity for the serious photographer looking to expand your portfolio, or for the beginner wanting to learn more about your camera.

Lodging: Attendees that plan on staying in San Francisco or Marin county can find lodging opportunities online at Expedia, Hotels.com, or other online services.
Shooting Schedule: Because of the changing weather conditions, final shooting schedule will be released to attendees by April 5th.

March 22nd & 29th This workshop will cover the 5 modules of Adobe Lightroom. You will learn detailed workflow; including cataloging, keywording, and creating collections based on all metadata. Attendees will learn how to edit and make adjustments to all file formats, including RAW and JPG files that will be perfect for printing and exporting. Learn advanced exporting; including batch processing of RAW files, exports to Facebook, Smugmug, Picassa, and other online services.
